The jackpot value grows every second as players place their bets. Watch it climb and be the next lucky winner.
Each category is designed for a different type of player — from casual players to serious jackpot hunters.
A progressive jackpot that grows every time a player places a bet across the open88 network. The value increases by the second until a player wins it, then the cycle resets and begins again.
Try the Progressive JackpotA jackpot that must be won every day before midnight. If no winner has come forward by the deadline, the system will randomly select a winner from active players. There is a winner every single day.
Try the Daily JackpotA jackpot that accumulates throughout the week and must be won before Sunday midnight. The prize is larger than the daily jackpot due to the longer accumulation period.
Try the Weekly JackpotJackpots at open88 are more than just big numbers displayed to grab attention. Every jackpot listed is real, winnable, and has been won by many Malaysian players before. The open88 jackpot system is built with transparency as a priority — you can see the current value, the date and time the last jackpot was won, and the winning city.
Open88's progressive jackpots work on a straightforward mechanism: a small portion of every bet placed by players across the jackpot slots network is contributed to the jackpot pool. The more people play, the faster the value grows. During peak hours, the jackpot value can climb by hundreds of MYR within just a few minutes.
What's great about open88 jackpots is that you don't need to bet big to be eligible to win. With a bet as low as RM 0.50, you're already in the running — whether through a winning symbol combination during a slots game or through the system's random selection. This means the big prizes are genuinely open to players at every level.

Many players are curious about jackpots but aren't quite sure how they actually work. At open88, we believe that players who understand how jackpots work will have a better overall experience. So let's break it down in a straightforward way.
Open88's progressive jackpots work like a shared pot. Every time someone plays a jackpot slot, a small portion of their bet — typically between 1% and 3% — is added to the jackpot pool. Because many players are spinning at the same time, the value grows very quickly. That's why it can reach millions of MYR in a short amount of time.
Jackpots are triggered randomly by the RNG system. This means there is no formula or guaranteed strategy to win a jackpot — it can happen on any spin, at any time, to anyone. That's what makes jackpots so thrilling. A player from Kota Bharu could win a multi-million MYR jackpot with a RM 1 bet at 3 in the morning, just as easily as a VIP player from Kuala Lumpur placing a big wager in the middle of the day.
Open88 runs three jackpot categories designed to ensure there is always a winner. Daily and weekly jackpots are structured to guarantee a payout within a set timeframe — if no one has won as the deadline approaches, the system activates a "must drop" mechanism that sharply increases how often the jackpot is triggered. This means your chances of winning are higher the closer the jackpot gets to its deadline.
For players looking to maximise their chances of winning a jackpot at open88, there are a few things you can do. First, play consistently — more spins means more opportunities for the jackpot to be triggered. Second, keep an eye on the daily jackpot value — when it is approaching its all-time high or the deadline is drawing near, the chances of a trigger are higher. Third, take advantage of open88 bonuses and promotions to earn extra credits and extend your playing sessions.
Remember that jackpots are entertainment and a matter of chance — not a guarantee. open88 encourages all players to set a comfortable budget limit before playing and to stick to it. Playing responsibly ensures your jackpot experience stays fun, not stressful. If you need support with responsible gambling, visit the Responsible Gaming we provide useful resources and tools.

"I didn't see it coming at all. I was playing Diamond Fortune that night over a cup of teh tarik when suddenly my phone screen filled up with winning animations. A RM 2.3 million jackpot landed in my open88 account within 10 minutes. It felt like a dream. The payout was smooth too — no lengthy interrogations or drawn-out checks."
"I play the open88 daily jackpot every night because I know it has to be won before midnight. I've won the daily jackpot three times this year — the biggest was RM 43,000. My strategy is simple: get in after 10 PM when the jackpot is close to its target. Payouts hit my DuitNow within 5 minutes."
"Nusantara Riches is my favorite because the theme is local — it just feels closer to home. The keris and batik symbols are beautifully done. I won a RM 318,000 jackpot last month from that slot. open88's customer service was there every step of the way until the money landed in my bank account. The whole process was smooth with no issues at all. Extremely satisfied."
